We wish to extend our sincere sympathy to Helen, Hazel, Ross and Dean and to all the extended family on the passing of Liam "Kicker" Odlum.

Kicker was involved right through the years as a juvenile. Then, at the tender age of 18, he was selected at number 12 on our 1975 Senior championship winning team. More recently he had been involved within the club as a selector on the Senior team.

He seldom missed a Newtown match and for home matches would take up his position at the railings near the entrance with his many comrades to discuss and sometimes impart his knowledge to players and referees alike. He was always available for help or advice and would discuss football with joy. A family man - his love of watching his many relatives playing for the Magpies was boundless. We shall miss him - as a player, supporter but above all - a friend. May he rest in peace.

We also thank the many sympathisers from near and far who contacted the Club and family throughout the weekend to express their condolences.
